About the Product
The double or crossed Vajra (or Viswa Vajra) symbol found in the center of this plate represents the stability of the physical world. It is a powerful protective symbol in that it cannot be destroyed but itself destroys all evil. It’s also an emblem of the green buddha of the north, Amoghasiddhi, and represents his all-accomplishing wisdom as lord of the karma family of activity.
The plate which is made from copper and brass, is inlaid using turquoise & coral stones and is named after the Buddhist word for giving.
Each plate comes with a wall hanging provision so that it can be easily displayed on your wall.
About the Maker
Hi! My name is Kunsang Tsomo (my friends call me Kusum) and I started Tibet Point in the year 2000 as a way to earn a living.
It's also my own little way of keeping the conversation around the quiet land of Tibet alive in the eyes of the world.
Through my products, I showcase a traditional Tibetan art in which brass items are inlaid with stones such as corals, lapis and turquoise. Another common thread in my products is the depiction of auspicious signs, symbols and mantras.
