Vincent Van Gogh was astoundingly prolific, producing all of his works during a short 10-year period. Although he only sold one painting in his lifetime, he inspired numerous future artistic movements.

Van Gogh painted the first series of Arles Sunflowers in August of 1888. He wrote “Now that I hope to live with Gauguin in a studio of our own, I want to make decorations for the studio. Nothing but big flowers”. The series is perhaps his best known and most widely reproduced.

The paintings were considered innovative for their use of the yellow spectrum, partly because newly invented pigments made new colours possible.

He wrote “It is a kind of painting that rather changes in character, and takes on a richness the longer you look at it.”

We love printing photos on canvas. But even before we print, our design team works with each of our customers personally till the picture's perfect. Once you are satisfied with the digital proof, the photos are then printed on archival grade canvas using the giclee printing method that's used by artists and galleries. Each print is given a protective finish to ensure that the colours don't fade over decades.
