Art Me is a platform for expression. It allows an individual, family or a group to express their feelings according to situations. Art Me had two divisions: Digital Caricature and Canvas Print Painting. Furthermore, in digital caricatures, there are 3 categories, Individual, Family/Couples, Friends/Office. On the other hand, canvas print painting (acrylic painting) is all about works of art based on original paintings that capture the spirit and beauty of the original. This, in a nutshell, is Art me. What were you doing before you started doing this?
I am a trained graduate in Fine Arts (BFA) from the prestigious Government College of Fine Arts, Thrissur. I am a Designer and artist since 2006. In all, I have 13 years of experience in the media industry.
Why did you choose to do what you do?
Since my childhood, I was interested in doing paintings and sculptures. But I did not see freedom to express my thoughts while working in an organisation. There are different set of standards and limitations which must be followed. I saw it as an intimidation and hence decided to start Art Me to focus more on my skills and empower my creativity.
We are fascinated by names. What’s the story behind your brand name?
Every single person would like to see themselves in a fascinating way, which will reflect energy, youth and vibrancy. Their thoughts are merged and become an Art. Hence Art Me.
Which are your best selling products?
I do mostly canvas print painting and digital caricatures. Both have its own customer base and requirements based on need and occasions.
What kind of people do you create your products for?
My product is always going to the precious mind who are always passionate about art and looking for a difference.
What are the challenges you face in connection with achieving your goals?
I do drawing, usually at night, after my regular job hours. Hence time is the biggest challenge I face. But I am adamant and take care about keeping deadlines and do complete and deliver the order on time.
Where do you see your brand three years from now?
I’d like to see my work will ensure the changing tastes and perceptions of people and give them a life of happiness.
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?
I hail from a family of designers and makers of gold ornaments. I would be doing ornamental designing if I were not successful in my current profession.
