Creative Tributes To Goddess Durga

Since, Durga Puja has begun,  here are 8 tasteful and creative ways our makers allow you to bring home the Goddess.

During Durga Puja, God in the form of the Divine Mother is worshiped in Her various identities. These are Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. Though the Goddess is one, She is represented and worshiped in three different manifestations.

On the first three nights of the festival, Durga is worshiped, on the following three, Lakshmi, and then Saraswati Devi on the last three nights. The tenth day of this celebration is called Vijayadasami. Vijaya means ‘victory’. It is believed that the mastery over one’s own mind can come only when these three forms of the Divine Mother – Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati – are worshiped. In essence, this is the significance of Durga Puja.
