Feza Bags is here to redefine the meaning of a handbag and style for every individual every day. Feza looks to do this by offering pure elegance with alluring sophistication for comfort and confidence. Feza is a Jaipur-based home-grown label. They are a young brand with many hopes and aspirations. We chatted with Divya of Feza to help you acquaint yourself better with their offerings. It made for an interesting conversation. What were you doing before you started doing this?

I was a business management student gaining practical knowledge in the field of Marketing. What I learned here helped me launch Feza.

Why did you choose to do what you do?

Feza is a firm dealing with authentic designer bags. I choose to form this firm to let these handcrafted accessories communicate with every individual to build their self-confidence with the companion they carry.

We are fascinated by names. What’s the story behind your brand name?

Feza in Urdu means universe. Feza in Arabic means silver. Feza in Zulu means accomplish. This combination of words and feelings is what Feza means. Our motto to accomplish silver in-universe. One should always feel confident about oneself. It’s the only way to present yourself successfully.  

 

Which are your best selling products?

Ethnic hand embroidered clutches crafted by skilled craftsmen and Round sling bags which are an amalgamation of vegan leather and fabrics like suede and cotton silk are our most popular offerings.

What kind of people do you create your products for?

Women of all age groups irrespective of their budget. We‘ve got it all covered under one roof. Tote bags, laptop bags, party minaudiere or a wedding clutch, casual prints, etc. Soon, we will be launching men’s wallets as well.

 

What are the challenges you face in connection with achieving your goals?

For us the customer comfort and needs is utmost. To meet these client objectives and the requirements of people from different regions around the world with varied choices was the greatest challenge. To curate what we call ‘universally loved’ was our greatest challenge and will always be. Also, we aim at showcasing ethnic embroidery in a way that looks like an amalgamation of western as well as Indianised. At times, this balance and appeal can be a great challenge to accomplish perfectly.

Where do you see your brand three years from now?

As I said earlier, the moto is to fulfill the handbag style requirements of every individual. Our team is working very hard towards the same. Our hope is that somewhere down the lane, FEZA will be a companion and confidence boost for every tasteful woman.  

 

What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?

I knew from the very beginning that I would always be someone to put my innovations and fashion interests in practical life and create something worthwhile with it. That’s how I came up with the whole idea of FEZA. And now i know I am at the exact place I was meant to be.
