You are cordially invited to the conversation. Welcome.
What were you doing before you started doing this?
I was working in the tobacco industry and previously helped in a venture for Indian snacks in the USA.
Why did you choose to do what you do?
I wanted to develop my skills with real-world applications and gain practical experience about the Indian market for food products.
We are fascinated by names. What’s the story behind your brand name?
The story behind the name Eatelish is quite simple. It’s a portmanteau of Eat + Delish (delicious). Our aim has always been to have our customers eat and enjoy the delicious food from around India.
Which are your best selling products?
Our East Indian Bottle Masala, Mango Vattal, Ribbon Pakoda, and Refreshing Panagam are the best selling products from our entire range. Also, the Chicken Pickles, Rice Mixes, and South Indian snacks are the most selling, from the lot.
What kind of people do you create your products for?
We create and curate our products for the people who value authentic Indian food and cherish the taste of their roots,
What are the challenges you face in connection with achieving your goals?
The fact that I don’t have much experience handling and promoting a company is a challenge. Also, the basics of practical application is an area of expertise that I need to challenge myself to get better at.
Where do you see your brand three years from now?
I intend to take this company to new heights in the coming years by improving the areas of sales and marketing. Also, I wish to create a strong foundation for this company and enhance the product portfolio.
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?
My interest in Entrepreneurship is very strong. If not this, I believe I would have started another business in India or another country. Mostly I’d be building my tobacco company and bringing my ideas and interests to life through the work. Earlier, my plan was to be in products such as coffee, confectionaries, and other fast moving consumer goods. My interests also venture into technology and application development.
