What were you doing before this?
I was and still am an IT professional
Why did you choose to do what you do?
It all started two years back when I began looking for skincare products for my newborn baby. Most of the products out there were loaded with chemicals and parabens. That’s when I wondered, if baby products had so many chemicals in them, what goes into skincare products that we use? The Zero Skin was started to address this serious problem.
We are fascinated by names. What’s the story behind your brand name?
The Zero Skin – Zero Chemicals, Zero Preservatives, Zero Additives. It’s all about going back to zero and using only what mother nature has given us.

What kind of people do you create your products for?
We created The Zero Skin for people who want to use products with natural and organic ingredients and love handmade creations that are curated and customised in small batches for the discerning.
What are the challenges you face in connection with achieving your goals?
Since we are a startup, and people believe in blindly going for big brands, it’s hard to make that first sale. Once that is done, customers always return for more from The Zero Skin.
Where do you see your brand three years from now?
We see ourselves growing into a full-fledged skin and hair care brand serving all categories of people at competitive and attractive prices.
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing this?
I wish I could be a full-time Organic Farmer. It is something that’s still on my list of to do’s.
