Meet the maker: Misha & Amit Gudibanda – Sky Goodies

A simple way to describe Sky Goodies would be, a talented couple that creates kaleidoscopic products inspired by this great, pandemoniacal, colorful, chaotic nation of ours.

A simple way to describe Sky Goodies would be, a talented couple that creates kaleidoscopic products inspired by this great, pandemoniacal, colorful, chaotic nation of ours.

What started out as two individuals, experienced at graphic design and product design has now culminated into a pop-culture products producing company. The story of Sky Goodies is quite heart-warming, where two classmates, start a company, fall in love and now are parents (cue “awws”).

The founders, Misha and Amit, are zealous and budding entrepreneurs who wanted to create products that were fun, quirky and happy, and so they did.

“In September of 2013, we took a much-needed break and thought about what kind of products we wanted to make. That’s when we zeroed in on DIY kits and handmade gifts. Not only do they combine our two biggest loves – paper and hand-painted art – but they also have more emotional attachment than ready-made products. They evoke feelings of joy and love!”

When asked where they derived the idea for this, this was their inspiring response. “We wanted to create products with a high emotional quotient. Gifts, especially handmade ones, were the perfect niche. Paper craft by itself is an old concept, but is considered a kids’ hobby by many people. We wanted to make products that any person, of any age or background, could create, use, or gift, and could experience the joy of making and giving.”

Hosted on Engrave, we take great pride in the fact that we bring a little bit of brightness and joy to you through Sky Goodies’ products. Their Matchbox Artwork on notebooks, business card holders and gift boxes are truly for the quirky individual. Their Doodle Collections and DIY sets are what every eccentric soul covets and what idiosyncratic household needs. So go ahead, and bring out your inner pop-art connoisseur.
