About the Maker

I am Syamantak Dubey. I am a self taught portrait artist. Creativity is like a second soul to me. According to me, you wouldn't want to ponder a world without artists. There would be so much less to intrigue you. So much less to inspire you. There would be so many fewer insights to the great stories that lay here and there. And so, this is where I come in. Because I believe inspiration can be found in the humblest of origins. Like a simple concept, inspired by few lines of a novel or a song or a scene in a movie, and even at times from a wave of emotions, from day to day life. Ergo, I always carry a sketchpad with me in hope that I can lay them down on paper and broadcast such stories through my art.
